You Might Forgive, but Forgetting is not Always Possible Essay Example for Free
You Might Forgive, but Forgetting is not Always Possible Essay There are many different responses to this statement, and different people hold different opinions, both for and against it. I agree with the statement, because Christians are taught that to sin is human, to forgive is divine, proving that it is difficult even to forgive, never mind forget. An argument in favour of the statement is, as human beings, we do not possess the capability to completely wipe out memories from our minds, no matter how hard we may try. Also, memories involving pain and suffering are nearly always fresh in our minds, and it is the thoughts of this kind that we are told to forget, which is extremely difficult, and very rarely possible. see more:to forgive is divine In addition, some sins are so serious that to simply forgive and forget is not an option. Even Jesus himself enforced this point, when he told his disciples that one of them was going to betray him. He used the words it would have been better for this person had they never been born, which may sound a cruel thing to say, but what Jesus really meant was that it was going to be difficult to forget what Judas was about to do to him. Another point strongly agreeing with the statement is, human beings can learn from their mistakes, and if sins and crimes were erased from our memories we would never learn. This is true, as we are not perfect, and we need to learn from our mistakes in order to make ourselves a better person. On the other hand, it could be argued that forgetting is central to the forgiving process, and true forgiveness involves being able to move on and forget what was done in the past. If people keep bringing up what has been done in the past, and dwelling on it, then this suggests that forgiveness has not truly been granted, therefore, reconciliation does not occur. Also, by refusing to forget what has been done, a person becomes consumed with regret, bitterness and anger, all of which are all destructive characteristics resulting in their lives becoming focused on mourning and revenge, and the motivation and ability to move on is lost. Constantly reminding someone of past feelings is un-Christian behaviour. In conclusion, I believe that it is possible for a person to forgive, but I agree that it is not always possible to forget what they have done. Are we supposed to forget every time a person sins? Maybe we can forget the odd venial sin, but what about mortal sins, like somebody killing someone close to you? It is just not possible to forgive and forget about somebody who commits mass murder such as Myra Hindley, and we know that a victims mother, Anne West, can never forgive what Myra Hindley did to her daughter, and cannot bring herself to say the words, forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who trespass against us, in the Lords Prayer. As Christians we all do our utmost to forgive and forget none of us are without sin, let those who have committed no sin cast the first stone.

The effect of concentration on rate of reaction was investigated Essay Example for Free
The effect of concentration on rate of reaction was investigated Essay Analysis: 1. How does reaction rate change according to concentration? Based on our processed data, the lower the concentration the faster the reaction. This also means that the higher the concentration, the slower the reaction. 2. Why is the cotton wool plug needed? The cotton wool plug is needed to absorb the amount of carbon dioxide released. It acts as a sponge in absorbing the gas expelled from the conical flask. The cotton wool is weighed beforehand and then after absorbing carbon dioxide, to find the mass of carbon dioxide released. The amount of carbon dioxide released can be used to calculate the rate of reaction. 3. Why is there no further loss in mass at the later time intervals? Eventually, there arent enough remaining moles of HCl to react with the calcium carbonate marble chips. Thus, there is no more reaction and there is no carbon dioxide to be expelled. 4. How could reaction rate be calculated from your graph? The first graph shows the loss of carbon dioxide over time. In this experiment, the rate of a reaction may be measured by following the rate at which carbon dioxide is formed. It is equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide formed divided by time. The gradient of the graph can be used to calculate the rate of reaction, because the gradient is equal to a change in the y values over a change in the x values. In this graph, it would be equivalent to a change in the loss of carbon dioxide over a change in time. This shows the rate of reaction and how fast it is going. Based on the graph, the steeper the slope, then the faster the reaction and vice versa. Conclusion and Evaluation In this experiment, the effect of concentration on rate of reaction was investigated. We did this by reacting marble chips (calcium carbonate) with hydrochloric acid, and recording the expelled mass loss of carbon dioxide as the concentration of hydrochloric acid began to drop. The carbon dioxide loss in mass over time was used to calculate the rate of reaction. In chemistry, the rate of reaction is used to describe how quickly a reaction happens. It is defined as the measure of the amount of reactants being converted into products per unit amount of time. In our case, we measured the amount of hydrochloric acid and calcium carbonate being converted into carbon dioxide in 20 seconds intervals. There are several ways to vary and experiment with a rate of reaction. Students can observe a change in volume of gas produced, change the transmission of light in the experiment, change the concentration using titration or even change the concentration using conductivity. For this experiment, we observed rate of reaction by a change of mass. We calculated our rate of reaction by dividing the grams of carbon dioxide released by 20 seconds. Because 20 seconds was a constant divisor, the more mass of carbon dioxide released, the greater the rate of reaction. We also calculated the concentration of HCl left and observed the relationship. Based on our processed data, the lower the concentration, the greater the rate of reaction. For example, after 320 seconds, 2.00 g of carbon dioxide was expelled when the concentration of HCl was 0.182 mol dm-3. This gives a rate of reaction of 0.1 g of carbon dioxide produced per second. At 20 seconds, 0.70 g of carbon dioxide was released when the concentration of HCl was a whopping 1.364 mol dm-3. This gave a rate of reaction of 0.035 g CO2 per second, which is 0.065 g more than the aforementioned low concentration. The two graphs confirm this conclusion. As time goes on, the mass of carbon dioxide expelled increases, while the concentration of hydrochloric acid decreases. A lower concentration of hydrochloric acid causes more carbon dioxide to be expelled and thus lead to a greater reaction rate. I was quite shocked by our results. I thought that with a higher concentration and more molecules moving around, there would be a better chance of reactions taking place. However, this experiment shows that it was in fact the other way around. Perhaps, with a lower concentration of hydrochloric acid, there needed to be more carbon dioxide expelled to balance out the equation. With fewer moles of hydrochloric acid and lower concentrations, the equation was most likely out of proportion. In an attempt to make up for the lower number of moles, more carbon dioxide was released. Limitation Significance Improvement Tearing of cotton wool when it was being removed from the flask and then losing the torn cotton. When the cotton wool was being removed, some it may have been torn off. As a result, the mass could be a lot lighter than it should have been. When taking out the cotton, damage should be limited so that everything is accounted for and a more accurate carbon dioxide mass is achieved. Be very careful when removing the cotton to avoid any tearing. If a piece of cotton is accidently torn off, do not throw it away! Keep it and weigh it so that it is accounted for. Experiment was not performed until carbon dioxide stopped being expelled. The data was limited. Carbon dioxide was still being produced and there were still 0.091 moles of hydrochloric acid left when the experiment was stopped. Do not finish the experiment until there is no more carbon dioxide being expelled. This way, we get a better idea of the limits and possibilities of the reaction rate and how far it can go. Timer was not started the same time the marble was entered. Some marble could have been left inside the solution for a longer or shorter time than others. As a result, carbon dioxide values could be lower or higher than they should have been. The timer should be alert and there should be communication between the partners. The timer needs to begin once the marble chips are placed inside, and it needs to be removed right after twenty seconds. By maintain a steady time of twenty seconds, we can properly assess the reaction rates without adding another independent variable of time.

Integrated Marketing Communication Concepts Analysis
Integrated Marketing Communication Concepts Analysis The purpose of any given organizations in the globalised market place today is to create a connecting link with customer, and communicate their brands in the most feasible ways. Creating customer or to be precise building relationship with customers though is not an easy task. It calls for advancement in marketing medium and communication tactics. Organizational operation and their purpose are to create the value chain and build a relationship with consumer through communications and its forms. In such situation the importance of integrated marketing communication can be traced. The primary aim of this report limits its research on the concepts of Integrated marketing communication. The concepts meaning of integrated marketing communication or that which we can understands by any other word such as corporate communication tool or advertisement is aimed primarily at the public via a variety of interactive tools, such as corporate advertisings, its publicity, public affairs, governance besides the compounding management issues and public relations as well as corporate sponsorship. (Luiz Moutinho, 2004, p. 179) These process combined together play an instrumental in todays organization. In that essence, the structure of this report is limited to identify the issues encompassing IMC, as well as to define the idea as to where the object of IMC takes roots from. In doing so, understanding the meaning of marketing communication is important and relevant from a theoretical point of view, which this essay attempt to trace the implication if any through its discussion encompassing IMC concepts that are very much in practice today. Marketing processes is corporation one focal point. Marketing helps corporations to sells their products and services or experts. We have come across the adage all that glitters, isnt gold as well as the saying there is more to things than just meet the eyes. These phrases have more philosophical meaning behind their originations. And when linked with marketing communication for examples there is an interrelated meaning as well, given that consumers today are more aware than ever before. Before deciding on any particular purchase they undertake a thorough outlook as to where the idea of corporation communication links with them. Add to it, we see reason enough that corporation are tying every possible measures to connect with consumers. The adage consumer is king hold true in a sense that consumer does much of the talking; deciding, etc that goes into the making of their purchasing capacity. The better the communication marketing appeal, the greater is the scope for corporation to bu ilt relationship with consumers in the market. The medium used in marketing is meant to reach consumer and communicate to them in the most feasible way. In every sphere of our life somewhat we have come across advertisements, e-mailer in our inbox that brief about a particular product, and all components of brandishing through billboards, etc. besides, we have also come across the point as corporate sponsorship. Corporate sponsorship to be precise is the frequent case that we see corporate logo in football grounds and amongst players. Somewhat we wonder also as to what is all about CSR concepts adopted by many corporations today? Question and counter question that we often presume also is that why does communication undertake all these at one go? We can understand that there is a marketing concept behind it all, but the question is why? In that assumption we can speculate that all factor encompassing the one as detailed above have a lot to do with the concepts of integrated marketing communication. But how, and what detrimental v alue does it communicate with consumers in the market? Why does it arise so? Does IMC in any instance provide a sense of belonging with consumers? Yes it does. Generally from our understanding it is considered that marketing itself is a fundamental organizational function. The best way that corporation in the current scenario are marketing their product is through the integration of effective marketing channels or tool to connect and build relationship with consumer in the market. Such mechanism and its concepts that have undergone a change of guards and making inroads in corporation marketing are the integrated marketing communication concepts. It is that branch of the overall marketing process that encompasses process such as planning product promotions, its advertising, corporate sponsorships and the likes. Most importantly the question that arises again is that does an IMC concept impact upon the purchasing power of consumers and their mindset? The answer is yes. There is a grea t many values attached to IMC concepts in the marketing realms, especially in today competitive environment, where only the fittest survives and where technology and different forms of media play a significant role. When we emphasize on these points the importance of IMC can be traced. And it should be clarified herein that the primary focus of this work is to address these three main assumptions:- What is Integrated Marketing Communication? What is the reason behind Corporations favoring IMC Concepts at its Best for Promotional Purposes? What Defines IMC and its Appeals as far as Advertisement and Promotional Objectives goes? Does Embracing the Concepts of IMC is difficult for Corporation To come to this conclusion is rather hard. Thus, it could be prudent that each assumption is discussed separately, as detailed below. 1. WHAT IS INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS? We can define integrated marketing communication in the word of Terence A. Shimp, as a communication process that entails the planning, integration, creation, and implementation of diverse forms of mass communication such as, advertising, sales promotions, publicity releases or press releases and events that are delivered overtime to a brands targeted customer and prospects. (Shimp, 2008) The goals thus are to influence the behavioral conditioning of consumer and their perceptions of things. To sum it up, integrated marketing communication takes an extensive formulation of covering every minute detail that bridges the gaps between consumer and producers in the market, where the media comes in handy to make the connecting links and channelize the same in the most feasible ways. (Shimp, 2008, p. 10) It also should be understood that marketing communications concepts arise from communication and its meaning. Communication as we can understand in simple language is that condition that accumulates together the aspects wherein sharing or exchanging of informations between two parties is made possible. Furthermore, it also links together the components of reaching to the means of communication for an end results, let say the mechanism or tools that are used for the same. Above all, communications in any given standards is not one way; assert learned men and scholars such as Paul Russell Smith and Jonathan Taylor. (Paul Russell Smith, 2004, p. 72) Besides, understanding the concepts of communication also directly register with us and a layman understanding of the same. The overall aspect of marketing communication also is one subset of the subject matter that concerns itself with the concepts of marketing. Marketing communication is a set of purposive activities, linked and coordinated to some degree. (Jain, 2008, p. 1) From this notion and when we come to the conceptualization of the idea behind marketing communication we can readily identify also the substance or the significance attached to it, which we assume organizations are banking heavily as a factor for sustenance and growth, given that marketing processes and its activities in many forms and parts asserts scholars relies heavily on communication formats; wherein such marketing process and procedures is to directly informs potential customer of a product offering or factor such as in creating a brand image in the marketplace and any other process such as customer feed backs in improving processes or products that marketers initiates. In that components accumulated and buildup together thus, marketing research also comes in handy and is effective, (Guy Masterman, 2006, p. 4) and is often looked also as a typical tools for promotional and advertising activities and to connect with consumers. Moreover, what has been the very discussed and augmented point on the subject matter and the very essence of marketing communication also often raises the question as to how marketers communicate with their target markets? Simply put in what marketers actually do in essence is the fact that everything they do is communicates, (Ludi Koekemoer, 2004, p. 1) through proper channels, and by using relevant marketing tools to their advantages for communications. Such a communication process take stage or come to fore because it helps corporation in many ways to bridge the gap of communication with the market or consumers as the case is, and thus good communication is based on an orientation around a dominant, rational big brand idea as corporations calls it, which acts as a tool or platform for creating, involving and sustaining customer engagement. (Micael Dahlà ©n, 2009, p. 2) Comprehending together these notion overall as can be laid emphasis upon we feel that every dynamic organization s today and in the current schemes of things takes an interested approach towards reaching the means to an end for their offering, be it products or services, and marketing communication is thus the most visible of marketing functions (Copley, 2004, p. 1) for reaching such an ends to the result oriented targeted activities, which is also the very salient object of marketing concepts itself and that which we will further evaluate and comprehend the very idea that erupts and that which we can lay out hands on the arguments that arises with integrated marketing communications and its meaning overall as discussed below. 2. WHAT IS THE REASON BEHIND CORPORATIONS FAVORING IMC CONCEPTS AT ITS BEST FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES? There can be many reasons for this. As we can understand, the conceptual evaluation of the meaning integrated marketing communication has a lot to do with marketing concepts as one bigger picture of it all. Often we begin to argue in that direction considering a typical organization where advertising is controlled by the marketing department, where as selling is the responsibility of the sales department and the websites is controlled and maintained by IT services. (Graeme Drummond, 2005, p. 149) This is really what composed the conditionality of todays modern organizations. Often we wonder wont such a process interfere with the overall concepts of marketing? And how does things can be assured that consumer get or receives the right and correct message from the company concerned when marketing are integrated in departmental wise? To put emphasis on this notion and this views that arises in that regard, the answer we feel lays in the objective of integrated marketing communication. Integrated marketing communications in all aspects attempts to use together the various communication message or tool used by the organization into one meaningful coherent message. (Graeme Drummond, 2005, p. 149) Add to it, Marketing in the current scheme of things also is in a state of transformation. (Copley, 2004, p. 4) As we are aware, a new era is unfolding in the fields of advertising, promotions, and marketing communications. (Clow, 2007, p. 43) This is true, considering that the presence of media and its advancement have given abundant option available for marketers to bank and capitalize from. In that context, this is also where the very essence and substance of marketing communication comes into play in the overall picture that composed marketing and its principles. 3. WHAT DEFINES IMC AND ITS APPEALS AS FAR AS ADVERTISEMENT AND PROMOTIONAL OBJECTIVES GOES? When we come to this part of the discussion, often the very first question that we encounter with is the importance attached to integrated marketing communication. Does the substantial element attached to integrated marketing communication assist managers and marketers in the promotional processes and its integration? The answer to this point as we can comprehend and build up our arguments and reasoning logically is, yes. As we have already defined the basis of integrated marketing management, we see reason enough that it components is linked to many befitting ends results as a means to an end that marketers emphasize upon. To justify this view firstly, we should try and attempt to understand the role that integrated marketing communications plays in todays organizations and their marketing prospects. The very essence and meaningful conceptualization of the word advertising and its role in integrated marketing communication is looked upon from the broader element attached to it. Take for examples factor attached to advertising within the integrated marketing communication campaigns and its activities must have a consistent look and feel, even though brand advertising to consumers will generally be different from retails advertising from consumers. Yet all such campaigns have their own objectives and purpose. (Percy, 2008, p. 83) This is all about what we can sum up as the very basis and objectives of strategic integrated marketing communications. Scholars such as Peter Drucker said that any business has two basic requirements, one is marketing, and the other is innovations. (Varey, 2002, p. 1) This is true and applicable in today organizations environment as well. But what is innovation in that sense of the term? We feel that IMC concepts have much to be viewed in that point as well. Add to it, consumer in today environment also are more interactive and swift, given that they accepts a wide variety of information from media in many forms and formats. Marketers in that situation have a fair control over what customer and prospects hear or learn about their products. (Don E. Schultz, 1993, p. 43) Thus, on the basis of these points we can emphasize also as to where to trace the significance of integrated marketing communication. The greater instance of the subject matter argument is that even in the current scheme of things advertising agencies are still searching for the best way to incorporate the concepts and practice of integrated marketing communication. (Tom Duncan, 1996, p. 13) To top it all, the nature and scope of advertising in context of integrated marketing communication is simply a means or a marketing tools that helps sells brands of products and help top build confidence in companies and institutions by conveying accurate and compelling informations to customers about the brand, or anything in that regard. (Ludi Koekemoer, 2004, p. 65) 4. DOES EMBRACING THE CONCEPTS OF IMC IS DIFFICULT FOR CORPORATION When debating to this point, the answer is yes and no, given that it depends greatly how the concepts is emulated for practical purpose. On the other hand, corporations with a scope to make a switch towards integrated marketing communication are posed with many barriers. It can be in the form of technological barriers, or cost factor and the likes. This point notwithstanding, it would prudent also that a scholastic point be observed as well to the difficulty as such if any. What scholars have withhold in favor of integrated marketing communication can again be emphasized to the notion wherein it is held that integrated marketing communication plays a vital role in every aspects of marketing process. However, developing and implementing an integrated marketing communication programs is usually a detailed and complex process, which involves many persons as well as extensive efforts. (George E Belch, 2003, p. 69) Thus, such factor when encounter often comes and acts as a barrier when corporations for example are trying to embrace the features of integrated marketing communication. Fair enough, not only the cost factor also comes into play in such a strategic integration, but also the complexities of the process itself, which very often when not strategized systematically can be a dampener of sorts. This is what we can augment are some of the difficulty in embracing the overall features of integrated marketing communication in a standardized and symmetrical manner. METHODOLOGY The methodology adopted in this report is primarily secondary in nature. There have been no specific methods or process evaluation undergone. As a discourse in theoretical terms, the best available secondary resources were dependent upon to emphasize the views and counter view of this paper assumptions and its argument. On a greater note, view in favor of IMC concepts and is adoption is the concentrated focus to align into the assumption and its discourse overall. Thus, most of the resource used use for this research is secondary in nature, where IMC concepts and its literature have been the main source in feeding this project and regimenting the assumptions. DISCUSSIONS From our study and its analysis on the concepts of integrated marketing communication we can understand that the significance of the concepts cannot be brushed aside. It would be wrong to do away with IMC and its practical practices. The fact is that IMC assist corporations survival in many ways, and Helps Corporation building a good rapport with consumers in the market, through advertisements, billboards, corporate sponsorships, public relations and the likes of e-mailer. Effective communications are the building block between a manufacturer and consumers. Often the term consumer is king also very much also come into play in such a scenario. Corporations understand such scenarios, and are doing their best to format their communication and advertising process by initiating the practicality of IMC concepts. Thus, the principle of marketing though make its claims, however, without any pictorial and effective communication marketing often lose its sheen and sheer factor to appeal the general consumer in the market. The presence of many competitors and identical product also greatly impact consumer perception and their purchasing power, we can speculate. Lapses in communication even hurt the relationship and its bounding. The concepts behind IMC and its integration is to bring into force the factor of communication in marketing mediums, so that firms communicates in its variety of forms with consumers, thus bridging the gap in communication as is the case with traditional marketings. Moreover, it also to bring into force the streamlined process, where marketing communication is fostered and facilitated in the most feasible ways and reaches its targeted destinations, and impact upon consumer perception and their connection with any given message that appeals their psychological nature of co nsumers. The better the marketing procedures and its communication, the better is the prospects of the organizational outcome. Besides, sustenance and growth of a corporation also is hugely influenced through the marketing processes that organizations undertake and it can be in many other forms or processes, although central to marketing objectives. CONCLUSION There is great much scope for research in this topic. Given the absence of primary methodology being employed, future research through the use of primary research tools, such as questionnaire, interview and the likes, as it can provide a great significant to the assumptions from an objectively view point. Lack of relevant material though have been the factor of this research and its weakness, yet the fragmented segmentation of the concepts meaning and its discourse have been arranged to get a glimpse of the theoretical point of the subject matter and its assimilation. Taking the overall discussion and when we reflect back to the subject matter we can conclude that IMC concepts are significant to corporation in great many ways. Adopting the IMC concepts and emphasizing on its practicality can be the best ever things that corporation can initiates as a tool for mass appeal, and to get their brandishing and all factors of advertisements in their favor as well as providing consumers in the market a sense of relief to make difficult choices from available products. Thus, building on these points and our understanding of the argument in details abovementioned, we can finally conclude that marketing have many dimensional foregrounds, yet without effective communication much of it is lost in translation. Hence, integration of marketing process with streamlined communication process can be the best ever thing that can mark the transformational change in the favor of marketers. Marketing strategy very often exploit the use of marketing tools, given that there are reasonable point to such integration. Yet, it should not be forgotten that the philosophical and strategic overtones for corporations growth and its sustenance also all depends and ride in direct links with marketing, wherein integrated marketing communication processes is one vital part of marketing principle that bridge the gap to connect with the general consumers in the market.

Essay on The Awakening as Romantic, Realistic, and Local Color Writing
The Awakening as an Example ofà Romantic, Realistic, and Local Color Writing A fair woman slowly, but surely, makes her way into the water.à It is obvious that she is slightly afraid, but not to the point where she is willing to stop progressing into the gradually deepening water.à She believes that after she lets the water grab her life, everything will be fine.à Sounds appealing?à I did not think so.à However, Edna Pontellier thinks that this is the best option for her.à Drowning seems to be the only way out.à The Awakening, by Kate Chopin, describes Edna Pontellier's battle against society, and how she decides to handle this battle.à This novel was considered an immoral piece of literature during the early 1900's.à Its descriptions of a strong woman who goes against a grim and strict Creole society shocked critics and readers alike.à Edna's strong will and determination cause changes that were not welcome at the time.à Despite the fact that The Awakening was unwelcome in the early 1900's, it is a widely read novel that most consider to be an extraordinary piece of literature.à The Awakening is a great novel because of its unique combination of Romantic, Realistic, and local color writing. à à à à à à à à The Awakening demonstrates Romanticism in many ways.à The accentuation of the imagination, freedom, emotion, nature, and nobility of the common man characterize Romanticism.à The Awakening demonstrates this in many ways.à For example, a mockingbird and a parrot are shown to describe the role of women of that time; they had the potential to be successful and respectful citizens, but society kept them caged in.à This demonstrates the "natural world" aspect of Romanticism.à In addition to this, constant references are ma... ...nd city names in her writing adds a lot to the feeling behind the novel.à Using the name "Grand Isle" has a larger effect on the reader than if she were to say "beach", or even "summer getaway".à Through the utilization of local color, the reader actually feels that he or she is a part of the novel, walking alongside the characters and feeling all their pain and suffering.à He or she can form visual images of life during the time of the Creoles. à à à à à à à à à à Through her inclusion of Romantic, Realistic, and local color writing, Kate Chopin makes The Awakening a truly extraordinary piece of literature.à Reading this novel makes the reader feel that he or she is living during the society of that time.à This is a unique writing that demonstrates one-of-a-kind combinations of literary elements.à Every person should read this novel and appreciate it for the talent.

Kennedy Assassination Essay -- essays research papers
ââ¬Å"President Kennedy was dead. I stopped by a giant live oak tree on the vast front lawn of Parkland Hospital and cried." As this reporter said, people everywhere were distraught when they heard that President Kennedy had been assassinated. News reporters from other countries flew in, called up, and sent letters back to tell the people in their country what had happened and to give advice to the Dallas Police Station. Everyone everywhere was upset by this tragic loss. People were sent home from work, kids sent home from school, and an entire nation with one question, who? The only answer that was given and is still the accepted answer is that, Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin in the murder of President John F. Kennedy. The events surrounding President Kennedyââ¬â¢s death are still under speculation, but this is known for sure: President Kennedy landed in Love Field, Dallas along with his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy at about 11:35 a.m. They left the airport in the motorcade along with Governor Collany and followed by Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson and his wife, Claudia ââ¬Å"Lady Birdâ⬠Taylor. At approximately 12:30 p.m., both President Kennedy and Governor Collany were shot. Lee Harvey Oswald left the Texas Book Depository just three minutes later. By 1:00 p.m., just an hour and a half after Kennedy arrived in Texas, he was announced dead. After the assassination, Oswald got onto a city bus, but once the bus got stuck in traffic, Oswald got off. He then took a taxi to within 4 blocks of his house, but did not go directly to his house. Oswald grabbed a different coat, a handgun, and left without saying a word to his housemaid, who was watching the assassination details on television. He then began walking around Dallas. A police officer named J.T. Tippet saw a man that fit the description of the assassin, so he stopped to ask Oswald some questions. Oswald panicked and shot Officer Tippet and then fled the area. He then entered a cinema where police finally arrested him. The public was outraged that President Kennedy was murdered and wanted an explanation. President Lyndon B. Johnson set up the Warren Commission lead by Earl Warren to head investigation. The Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin in the murder of John F. Kennedy. Lee Harvey Oswald had a major role in the assassination of Pres... ...ce to support a conspiracy. A conspiracy of that level takes months to plan. If it was a conspiracy attempting to blame Oswald, then how did they come up with all the evidence in just a short time? Oswaldââ¬â¢s fingerprints were on the gun; it is very unlikely that his fingerprints could have been on the gun in a conspiracy to blame him. The fact that President Kennedy decided less than a week before the assassination also shows that this was one man acting alone. Oswald more then had to ability to carry out the assassination, and he showed that he would kill someone like when he attempted to kill General Edwin Walker. There is also no plausible evidence linking anyone to the crime besides Lee Harvey Oswald. There is nothing linking a second gunman to the assassination. The main argument that there is a second gunman is he would have been situated in the grassy knoll, but injuries would be on the side of the body, where there were no injuries. The Warren Commission had more evidence that conspirators do not have, and came to their conclusion. Even with all the technology that we have, it is apparent that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Tiger Mon Equal to Children Success in Future
The . issue . of . whether . a . tiger . mum . equals . a . better . future . has . aroused . a . wide . debate . in our community recently. The . news . recently . reported . that Asian tiger parents also called Chinese-style version of parenting, struggle much effect to children. However, I disagree with the above statement, in this essay; I will explain the reasons and conclude that the tiger mom is equal to better future for their children. The background is that it has been argued that a tiger mom cannot lead students for a better future. In fact, a tiger mom can be a role model to their children.Parents can guide their children in their growth, their personal development, as well as building up their right value which can lead them to a better future. Chinatown American parents often focus on educational achievement, personality, personal accomplishment, and problem solving skills. With these aspects, they have high expectations of their children, for example, children are expe cted to master various musical instruments, and succeed in everything. Every parent would like to cultivate all the good things and values to their children when they are still innocent. This is why the name of ââ¬Å"tiger parentsâ⬠comes from, in another word ââ¬Å"strict parentsâ⬠. Outstanding academic results can set up good career aspects in the future, no matter if it is in Hong Kong or western countries, not only in manufacturing-based or service-based career. TheBigGreen (2012) showed that in the top-level schools, 90 percent of children have an outstanding parent who plans a strict and harsh timetable for their children. It is shown that when a child enrolls in a high-level institution can refer to a minority who have a tiger parent. The strict parents will plan a full schedule for children to learn extra knowledge and practical skills. Focusing on academic achievements, their parents will arrange many tutorials for them to excel in exams. In order to reach the tar get and be the top student in the school, their children might get high GPA or obtain a Deanââ¬â¢s List, which must be beneficial to them in future career. When you have succeeded in your academic field, getting a high CGPA in every term, you may have a chance to have placement or internship in worldwide enterprises. In addition, with higher education level, the children can be professionals in different social statuses, and also lead to social progress. Another reason why strict-parenting is a better way for a childââ¬â¢s future is that they give the child pleasure. In childhood, developing the proper social network, personal accomplishment, and respective interpersonal skills is necessary for their social activities, such as, table etiquette, social dancing, and classical music and so on. At the same way, the aggressive parents plan a timetable for their children to learn different musical instruments.Participating in the class, children can make more new friends from differe nt top-level schools. The parents will filter undesirable friends and build the proper social network in childrenââ¬â¢ s institution level and personal accomplishment. All these can be contributed in future career. Since if you need any support, your social network can be your consultant teams and help you deal with the problems. Moreover, learning a musical instrument in childhood, it could mater some kinds of long-term training. The child will feel pleasure when they can master something and be confident to perform well on the stage in the future. It is because they were always used to practice a lot and join various Royal Conservatory of Music examinations, which need to perform in the auditorium. When they feel pleasure under the strict parenting method, it will not cause any mental and physical effects in the future. Another reason is that tiger mom method training children are more target-oriented, and also well-organized and well-planning.Shane (2013) reported that Vaile an alyzing when a child , who is more well-planned, will be more sensitive about the social issue and critical thinking. In another word, it means that an aggressive parenting guides the children to plan and schedule. With the result of well-planning, children can be equipped with multiple perspectives and make decent conversation. On the other hand, Chinese proverbs, ââ¬Å"success required hard workâ⬠, nothing comes from reaping without sowing. The parents help their children develop the habit from childhood, things must be planned in advance.Since they were used to do anything on schedule and on time in childhood, it caused them struggling their future works and everyday-life in the future. When in the future, you must be facing something unexpected, before the work start, you can imagine the situation and procedures in many possibilities. So you can prepare the contingency measures to solve those problems. Nonetheless, many people may have a misconception about ââ¬Å"tiger mu mâ⬠, which is only exploiting and maltreating children. However, the meaning of ââ¬Å"tiger mumâ⬠and ââ¬Å"strict parentâ⬠is that parents can guide their child to the right ways to be succeed in all fields. Parentsââ¬â¢ and Childrenââ¬â¢s Internal Conflicts (2012) insist that parents experienced . much . more . internal . conflict . in . pushing . their . children . to . success, . and . the . tiger . parents . kind . of . guilty . for . putting . children . through . the . top-level . institution. .Besides, most of the people may think that freedom, social skills and creativities may also be crushed by this type of harsh parenting. This is another misunderstanding concept. It is not true that strict parenting will cause external side-effects on mental and physical in the future. Undoubtedly, aggressive parenting style puts high-pressure on their children's childhood, but it can lead them to build up high-pressure resistant, blame resistant characteristics und er their guiding. In future, they could bear heavy workload, more missions and projects, and be more flexible to suit in different challenging situations. This is a sharpened competitiveness and strength which can excel with others. Additionally, children could further understand themselves and find self-image, value and esteem, reflecting when parents disciplining. The tiger mom may have a role model and guide the child to be successful, the benefit is more than the harmful effects to the children. The misunderstanding can be clarified by the fact. In consequence, even though the tiger mom approach is equal to a better future for children, it should not be black and white.Tiger parents build up a proper value to their children and teach them many things which could be used in future, like personality, personal accomplishment, and problem solving skills. Moreover, they plan the most meaningful and useful schedules for children, in order to have success in educational fields. Some ins ist that strict parenting might damage childhood; however, this is a misconception. The reason why the parents are only to guide children keep in rules, instill proper value, and leading them to self-reflection. With all bove conditions, ââ¬Å"tiger momâ⬠or ââ¬Å"strict-parenting styleâ⬠is not a harmful thing to children. Reference list Courtney Rivette. (2012). The Controversy Behind ââ¬Å"Tiger Momsâ⬠.
